Dukan Diet Thinking of Thanksgiving

Daily Loss:   Gain  2   lbs
Total Loss:        29.5   lbs
Wt. to go:         20.3    lbs

Breakfast   Chocolate Vanilla crepes, coffee

Snack         NF Greek Yogurt

Lunch        Scrambled eggs and sliced low-fat ham

Snack        NF Greek yogurt

Supper      Small hamburger , glass of NF milk, piece of tilapea fish dipped in egg and Dukan fried.

Snack         NF Greek yogurt

I know the weight gain is from water retention.  I am still hanging in there.

I guess we should start working on our Thanksgiving recipes.  Our Canadian friends have done a lot of work on that so we do have a background to start with.

I wonder if cranberries with splenda would be a possibility?

Cranberries (one half cup raw) have 30 calories with a total of 7 carbs ( 2 fiber and 5 sugar).  A bit high compared to rhubarb.  Maybe we could have one tablespoon cooked or put a few raw ones on our plate.

Any ideas??

Cooking on a hot plate, certainly has it’s challenges 🙂 I think the one thing I will miss about living in this flat is that I love to cook a turkey several times a year and it’s not possible here. I’ve never been big into cranberries, but maybe you can find a SF cranberry flavoring and make a dessert with FF yogurt and cranberry flavoring?

    • Can you buy Turkey in China?

      Good idea with the flavorings. I think I want something red with the meal. Roasted grape tomatoes with Rosemary should do. Meal must be colorful and full of flavor.
